Excuse battle of a lazy blogger

It has been a while I completely forgot Just a Topic. It is not because I was completely occupied and even did not have a couple of minutes of leave short notes or quick updates, but it is because I was and is very lazy blogger who remembers to blog only when I have absolutely nothing else to do in order to kill the time. I browsed to my own blog a couple of time during this period, but never bothered to write a fresh post for it.

When I thought about drafting this post, I was completely fed up by watching TV for more than 6 hours, browsed through all of the social networking accounts that I had been subscribed to; went through the headline news from Curiosity to RONAST updates, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai’s resignation demand by opposition to US Presidential Election debates, Manmohan Singh’s corruption controversy to G4S failure on London Olympic; had chitchat with friends on Skype, GTalk, Facebook and also completed reading few of the technical articles. Now, my mind reminded me that there used to be a blog for which I hadn’t composed any post from at least one year or even more than that. Absolutely, what could be the better time for it to contribute than this one when I have no task at all to kill my time.

Also, my heart felt somewhat “sensible” to my readers whom I should explain about my absentees from the blog. My mind immediately reacted saying that where did it “Sensitivity” gone when you were disappeared from the blog for more than a year. Ultimately my heart won and convinced the mind that I must ask for forgiveness with some “reasonable excuses”.  I did not prefer to phrase it with ‘reasoning’ or ‘explanation’ or similar one but with “excuse”, because whatsoever I might explain it with; it is actually the excuse to hide my laziness.

Then, the mind and heart got engaged in an inconclusive debate of whether to present genuine and not genuine excuses with logical or illogical reasoning. Ultimately, I got them settled with the agreement that the list of excuses will be “inclusive” of both of their concerns. Seems like they also got influenced with current Nepalese political trend of being “inclusive” in one way or another and not to get it on compromising level and keep on insisting unless their opinion is heard, with no matter even if other party is much logical and also bringing the take that will eventually benefit both of the parties.
Once I began drafting the list of excuses, it kept on growing from tens to hundred and hundreds to thousand as the list is inclusively influenced by the personal and rivalry interest of both heart and mind. When one enforced to include the excuse stating post could not be composed due to busy schedule, another objected that it has nothing to do with busy schedule as composing a post is just matter of couple of minutes. Several excuses were brought to front, discussed, discussed and discussed but none of them led to agreement. The conflict rose because of the debate on using words of individual interests on phrasing the excuses. Sometimes it gave an impression that some of the excuses will be agreed and eventually the post will appear on blog, but it never happened as Kidney, Liver and Lung fueled the conflict by persuading conflicting bodies of their interests. The conflict started with logical debate. Gradually it took the shape of quarrel for personal interest protection. Eventually, they kept on insisting and led to deadlock to protect their individual egos with the fear of being tagged of the failure to establish their own interest. Ultimately, the list remained indecisive as nobody wants to give credit of the finalization of the list to either of the party even if the list may include the interest of all of them.

Meanwhile, nobody thought about me, the blogger, who is losing the face to its readers. I always thought that the blog had been deserted for a long because of my laziness. But now, with the inherent of my own inseparable heart and mind, I am forced to doubt whether it was my laziness or their dispute that prevented me to blog for a long period, keeping me in distant with my readers.
