My heartfelt condolence to popular folk Singer and Musician Ram Thapa

When I heard an untimely demise of popular folk singer Ram Thapa, i was really shocked and became speechless for a moment. He looked very young and he was very young as well and i couldn't believe. I was great fan of Ram Thapa. I really like his couple of folk songs. He was very creative and talented singer as well as musician. We, Nepali, really lost a talented person from our music field. It was really bad news for the whole nation, especially to Nepali music industry. I love his folk songs like ' katar katar ma' railai ghumera gayo baini ko' etc. I don't understand why such talented and very important people died in young age in Nepal. Ram Thapa was really important person for our music industry, if we don't have talented artist like Ram Thapa then we can't listen creative and every Nepali's heart touching songs and music.In Nepal, It is very bad that government or even people don't remember such a great artiest but when he/she died then we will remember and start to praise his work after his dead. It was happen same to another talented and good vocalist singer Arun Thapa few years ago, it’s really bad. I was really get impressed by his music creation and music. He compose the Om bikram Bista popular songs 'Ma maounta ma' and late Arun Thapa's 'Ritu haru ma timi' and more, his music always hit to common people no matter where people from, even city, villages everywhere, people like his style and true Nepali rythem in his music. I always like his music creation and his songs. We will really miss him. It was great loss for nation and really sad news for all those who loves Nepali folk songs and music. I really want to offer my heartfelt condolences to him and i pray god that his soul may rest in peace. Finally, always remember you Ram Thapa and your songs and music.

New Nepal, an Innovative Nepal

Everyone is talking new Nepal new Nepal. Now days it is common in political, civilian circle about New Nepal. Actually, what is new Nepal? Nepal is still a traditional country, where modernization is really behind compare to developed western world. We have traditional agriculture methods, industries don't have modern upgraded technology and method as well as production capability and still producing goods and services in traditional manner.Nepali society is also very traditional, still thinking towards woman, child, and old people have same kind old thinking.

Nepal is rich in its biodiversity, we have high altitude mountains, hilly region and plain region, we have so many rivers, lakes and our all the region like mountain, hilly region and plain region have its specific significant. There is huge potential in food, fruit production, and food processing. We Nepali should not worry about thinking what we have in this country. We should think what we don't have, the fact is that we don't have good technology, idea, and initiative, courage to exploit our resources and make them productive and fruitful. Now government should focus to develop our own technology. The government and people shouldn't think that we can not develop technology ourselves but government and companies should invest in the field of research and development. We should identify such area where we have great potential and more jobs and we should plan and need to do research about that potentiality. New Nepal is should not be just a slogan. We should imagine what New Nepal would be? In my view, New Nepal means not only politically changed Nepal. We should change every aspect. And more important things are that New Nepal means high technology oriented, innovative New Nepal. We have talented people in Nepal but State could not identify those talents and encourage them. Many talented youth are going abroad for work and better career. They have compulsion because of Nepali politics, anarchy, lack of opportunities and no any productive and scientific activities inside the country. We should think that we can do it. We should start now to make Nepal an innovative and technological country. Government should establish its own R&D body in the field of agriculture, food processing, IT, herbs, and textile, not only in Kathmandu but every our provincial region. There should be fund for R&D purpose to the country’s popular and renowned colleges and universities like Pulchok Engineering, Kathmandu University etc. Government should promote selection system to best colleges and provide them funding to R&D. So, talented students will involve to research and development (R&D) activity and we will have our own technology. Innovation should be our identification. We should be ambitious and should dedicate to achieve our goal. Youth must be involved in innovation; we should always think how to make new technology to particular purpose. Suppose, we need innovation in food processing, we can produce high quality with unique testy juice and drink from our verities of fruits from mountain and hilly part. We can develop in ICT sector. We have many graduates and talented youth in computer programming, database and web technology etc. But they are going abroad because of lack of opportunities. See a simple example, the country like Taiwan; this is tiny country with around same population like Nepal. But they are so innovative. They are innovative in chip technology, computer and hardware technology, electronics etc. Taiwan is renowned as an innovative country that is such a pride to say to its citizen. We, Nepali, have capability, and resources but we are not such an innovative till now. But we can be in near future if we dedicated and determined. If we don’t start now to be an innovative country then when? Our neighbouring China and India is becoming innovative country but we don’t have even initiative and plan. In Nepal, government spending in research and development is still not known. Yes, it’s true that people are so poor and our income is less to spending research and development (R&D). But it is essential to do to develop the country in our own effort. Only political change and drafting new constitution, and making country federal republic, is not a New Nepal. If we have same infrastructure, life standard, technology and education system, and only changed in political system, do you called such a Nepal as a New Nepal? No, we only would say New Nepal when we will be a leading innovative country like Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, for example from Asia. It is fact that we cannot become today an innovative, it takes time but at least we should start now. We should have 10 year or 15 year plan to achieve a goal. Let's generate some idea to make Nepal an innovative country.

Gorkhali knee down!!!

Nepal is always sovereign country. Nepal always practices for peace not only in its territory all over the world through the brave 'Gorkhali' forces. Gorkhali forces always served for peace and justice. Look 1st and 2nd world war, Gorkhali(Nepali forces) fought for justice and peace. Still, Nepali army working many conflict hit nations for peace mission of UN and their work is excellent to establish peace. Nepal army also became supportive for the transition of Nepali conflicts as well. Gorkhali is our identity and our pride. The solders who died fighting for peace and justice is our hero. Gorkhali forces never invade any nation for occupying. They only fought for maintain their sovereignty and peace. Gorkhali forces are always praised all over the world due to its work. As a Nepali, calling themselves Gorkhali is pride because of our great history and it is due to Gorkhali forces. Nepal became always independent because of Gorkhali forces and its bravery. But Upendra Yadav, a so called Madeshi based leader from Tarai said in CA meeting that Gorkhali Knee down first time. Actually,It is saying that Gorkhali force let to chop its throat
but never Knee down to its enemy or opponent.For me, That day was a dark day in the history of brave Nepali and Gorkhali.He dare to say so because of politics of power struggle that our biggest political parties are practicing. All need power and they don't care about anything, I think Girja, Madhav, Prachanda should not hurt by this statement but we general Nepali who always sincere about nation and its independence we feel hurt. Actually, in Tarai, there are thousand of immigrants through out the time after integration of Nepal. Every one saying that Tharu, Dhimal, Rajbanshi etc. are the main original community in Terai. But others are immigrant. Though many people are immigrants, They are Nepali because they are living there more than 100 years.They have contribution to the Terai as well. But they don't have right to claim a separate state. It is true that many people from Tarai are marginalize and there should be a proper policy and plan to uplift and empowerment the people of Tarai that we all Nepali realizes but demanding separate state is not a acceptable to all Nepali including the native people of Tarai like Tharu, Dhimal, they are protesting against One Madesh state. I don't want to say they are not Nepali. But there is some leaders from Tarai , They don't have any agenda for politics , they are dull in terms of idea to uplift the poor people of Terai and they are just doing politics to invoke poor people from Tarai and enjoy in the politics and power.I want to remember some Tarai leaders who are becoming powerful minister since the changes in 1990 till date like Bijaya Gachhedar, Mahanta Thakur etc , and now i want to ask what they did for Madhesi poor people that has long term effect to uplift the poor Madhesi. I think nothing. They only serve their own family , cronies , cadres. They are only doing politics for themselves and now they have foreign support with ill motive of foreigners that every Nepali realizes. So, It is not a way to go to serve poor Madhesi people. They need education, job and awareness to social aspects. Hope real no forces in the country can disturb the racial harmony and everyone will united to develop the nation and its people.
